Buying Pool Filter Media by the Pallet

What Is a Pallet of Pool Filter Media?

A pallet of glass filter media from South Coast Products contains:

50 x 20kg bags

1,000kg total product

Pallets are available in Fine Glass Filter Media (0.2–0.5 mm), Coarse Glass Filter Media (1.0–2.0 mm), or a combination of both grades depending on your requirements.

Who Benefits from Pallet Purchasing?

Pallet purchasing suits businesses that regularly supply or install pool filter media:

• Pool shops stocking fine and coarse media for retail and trade customers
• Pool service companies carrying media for scheduled filter media changes across their service accounts
• Pool builders specifying glass media in new filtration system installations
• Commercial service providers managing filter media for aquatic centres, hotels, resorts or council pools
• Businesses carrying replacement media stock to reduce lead times on customer jobs

Fine Media, Coarse Media or Both?

When enquiring about pallet supply, you can specify:

Fine Glass Filter Media (0.2–0.5 mm) — used as the filtration layer in compatible pool filtration systems.

Coarse Glass Filter Media (1.0–2.0 mm) — used as the supporting layer in compatible pool filtration systems.

A combination of fine and coarse — if your customers or service accounts require both grades.

Media requirements vary by filter manufacturer and model. Always refer to the filter manufacturer's specifications when determining the correct grade and quantity for a specific filter.

Ordering More Than One Pallet

Customers requiring larger volumes can enquire about multiple pallets or full container supply. A full container contains 20 pallets — 1,000 x 20kg bags and 20,000kg of product.

For businesses with high-volume requirements, container purchasing may offer supply advantages. Contact South Coast Products to discuss your volume requirements.
